Sales Operations Coordinator

MassChallenge Sales Operations Coordinator
MassChallenge is looking for
a Sales Operations Coordinator to join our expanding Growth Team. It’s an incredibly exciting and empowering time to join us as we continue to grow and strengthen our focus on startups while engaging with corporate community. You’ll be the team's utility player, the first point of contact for potential partners, and support lead generation of partners for MassChallenge.

As the Sales Operations Coordinator, you will be focused on supporting MassChallenge as we become the top community for startup and corporate collaboration. You will support the Chief Growth Officer and Vice President of Corporate Development’s priorities focused around partnerships and revenue generation. Your time will be spent 50% on revenue and corporate research and 50% on administrative duties. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow into future positions in the sales and corporate innovation industries.

What You’ll Do

  • Create new B2B sales opportunities by researching prospects, updating Salesforce, and supporting other scraping of data for partner lead generation.
  • Coordinate the Chief Growth Officers schedule and meetings. Support additional administrative support including making travel arrangements, logging expenses, and managing correspondence.
  • Draft, edit, and contribute to the creation and management of partnership proposals.
  • Manage agenda, reports, and schedule of Growth and Partnership Team meetings. Ensuring people are prepared and on-time for those meetings.
  • Assist with preparation for and advise the Chief Growth Officer on speaking events, engagement activities, fundraising opportunities, and special projects.
  • Help drive organizational transparency by communicating Chief Growth Officer’s priorities to the team.
  • Support MassChallenge Inc. in achieving its aggressive revenue goal for 2018.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Minimum 2-4 years of work experience (Working in a startup environment and having experience with organization and partnerships are not required but a big plus).
  • You’re a hunter at heart. You see an opportunity and seize it.
  • You are creative when it comes to identifying ways to find new prospects.
  • You have an eye for design and passion for content creation for all things related to partnerships and new programs/projects.
  • You have strong organizational skills, including the ability to set priorities, juggle multiple tasks, organize time effectively, conduct research and identify resources for projects.
  • You have outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to work both in groups and individually to meet goals and to develop strong working relationships with internal staff and external constituents.
  • You have a customer service mindset and are known to go above and beyond to help your customers while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • You demonstrate sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information, a high degree of motivation, and self-discipline with a strong work?ethic.
  • You maintain a conscientious approach to work with the ability to meet tight deadlines, anticipate needs and be proactive in order to resolve issues. 
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are tech savvy and are quick to learn new technology and systems.
  • You have equal enthusiasm for both day-to-day executional tasks and bigger picture projects.
  • You are entrepreneurially minded and excited about opportunities in sales.
