Partnerships Account Coordinator

MassChallenge is looking for a Partnerships Account Coordinator to join our digital health accelerator, PULSE@MassChallenge, located in Boston, MA.

The Partnerships Account Coordinator will deliver high quality account services and value to existing sponsors ("partners") of PULSE@MassChallenge and support the PULSE Partnerships team with revenue generating activities. Reporting to the Partnerships Manager, the Partnerships Account Coordinator will work with the Partnerships Manager to successfully manage partner relationships in a hands-on fashion and will support the sales operations process to develop new business opportunities within the digital health ecosystem.

To be successful in this role, the Partnerships Account Coordinator must have the capacity to work with all levels of an organization. A successful candidate will bring a dynamic style and outcome-oriented approach to developing internal partnership processes and servicing external relationships. He/she will also be passionate about both the startup community and working with a growing team at MassChallenge.

In keeping with MassChallenge’s values, the Partnerships Account Coordinator will have the opportunity to regularly interact with MassChallenge startups and alumni to help create value for our sponsors and partners in the community. Corporations, governments, payors, and providers provide the funding for the PULSE@MassChallenge program.

What You’ll Do:

Partnership Operations and Accelerator Activity

  • Work with the Partnerships Manager and other team members to support the execution of the sales operation process at PULSE.
  • Serve as the Partnerships team liason between partner engagement and all accelerator related activities and plan and manage these activities (i.e Events, judging, advisory boards, partner curriculum presentations, partner office hours, etc.).
  • Create strategic processes for conducting high-value demo days and special events for corporate executives.
  • Collaborate with team members in marketing, operations, events, and mentorship to ensure effective service delivery and to integrate the team into our strategy.

Relationship Management

  • Support the Partnerships Manager in managing relationships with all existing partners.
  • Manage and oversee logistics related to partner accounts.
  • Assist in designing strategies to ensure successful relationships between partners and entrepreneurs.
  • Create a culture of high service, high support, and high expectations in working with partners.
  • Develop long-term, strategic business relationships with existing and new partners, with an eye towards trends and changes in the world of digital health entrepreneurship.

Who You Are:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years work experience, with a preference in account management, consulting or business development experience.
  • You have strong customer relationship-building skills, are comfortable working with all levels of an organization, and can manage multiple stakeholders at once
  • You have a customer service mindset and are known to go above and beyond to help your customers while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

  • You have exceptional project management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • You are capable of dealing with ambiguity and changing priorities and circumstances
  • You are tech savvy and are quick to learn new technology and systems

With support from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, City of Boston, and countless other private organizations, PULSE is building upon the success of our main accelerator model in Boston targeting the healthcare sector. We focus on digital health startups that are ready to validate or scale their products and services and match them with both local and national healthcare organizations.  PULSE@MassChallenge also serves as a Boston “hub” for healthcare startups and their collaborators. Through our role as community builders, we convene stakeholders throughout the ecosystem through events, programming and networking opportunities.
