Business Development Associate

Job Title:

Corporate Business Development Associate (CBDA)

 

Reports To: Business Development Manager / Managing Director

Job Overview:

The position of CBDA is responsible for executing the strategy to bring new partners to MassChallenge Mexico. This is done by identifying, prospecting and attracting new partners by identifying correctly their needs and requirements to reduce the bridge of corporates and startups.

Responsibilities and duties:

Support the design of the CBD strategy

  • Create and constantly update a list of prospects
  • Define clearly the target market to focus
  • Identify the value added

 

Partner proposals

  • Identify the value added to each individual partner
  • Design partnerships collaboration proposals and all the materials to present them
  • Give follow up on the prospects to include them on the sales pipeline and eventually generate sales

Sales process

  • Manage customer negotiations
  • Manage contract negotiations
  • Support Operations Manager on administrative tasks that need to be done to generate invoices, contracts, payments.

Manage the resources

  • Define a yearly budget
  • Execute and Manage resources

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in: Business, Management, International Relations, Marketing or related field
  • Maximum 2 years of experience in a customer service area or sales
  • Understanding in sales principles and customer service practice
  • Understanding in Marketing
  • Familiarity with the use of CRM’s (Salesforce)
  • English: Advanced level both written and spoken
  • Friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
  • Ability to perform under pressure and provide timely solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
